Electric units of JSC 'RUMO' can be used as the main or backup source of electric energy both in autonomous mode and when working in parallel with other electric units and/or with an industrial network. The electric units can be equipped with equipment for heat recovery of the Russian-made engine, which will allow to receive up to 1.2 MW of thermal energy in the form of hot water for heating and hot water supply for each MW of electricity produced.
JSC RUMO designs and manufactures RUMO electric units based on an internal combustion engine of the CHN22/28 type according to GOST 10150, which is a proprietary development of JSC RUMO (patent No. 129065) and is manufactured at a plant in Nizhny Novgorod. RUMO electric units can run on natural gas GOST5542-2014 with a calorific value of 7500...8600 kcal/nm3, diesel, motor and 'heavy' fuels, viscosity up to 700 cSt at 500 c, gas diesel and biofuels.
