RUMO JSC designs and manufactures ChN22/28 and ChN32/40 internal combustion engines as per GOST 10150.
Internal combustion engines RUMO can run on natural gas GOST 5542-2014 with calorific capacities of 7500…8600 kcal/nm3, diesel, fuel oil and heavy fuel oil, with viscosities up to 700cSt at 500s, gas diesel and biofuel and are designed to be used as stationary or ship drivetrain.
Since 2023, JSC RUMO has been manufacturing engines of this series in a forced version with a cylinder capacity of up to 200 kW at a rotation speed of 1000 rpm in 6 and 8 cylinder inline versions. The engines have a capacity of 800 kW, 1000 kW, 1200 kW and 1600 kW and can be used as the main marine diesel, main, parking and backup marine diesel generator and run on various types of fuel, including natural gas, diesel, motor fuel.
In 2023, JSC 'RUMO' developed and manufactured a prototype of a 1200 kW diesel internal combustion engine with the trade designation 'RUMO-535', intended for use on river-river class vessels as the main engine, main or backup electric unit. Currently, the prototype of this engine is undergoing a series of factory tests. After a series of factory tests, this engine will be installed on the ship. Promising RUMO-535 diesel engine: four-stroke, cylinder, inline, six-cylinder engine with turbocharging and charge air cooling.
All products meet the criteria of import substitution, are developed by JSC 'RUMO' and are made of domestic materials and components.
